Use this tool to find a good balance between rebuild time, resiliency and net capacity for backup storages. The capacities are calculated in TiB (10244 bytes).

The tool assumes splitting the total number of disks into smaller RAID groups, which is normal good practice. To achieve the estimated total net capacity, the tool assumes striping across multiple RAID groups is possible using modes such as RAID 50, RAID 60 or similar disk pooling solution.
